Renewing your PRC License using our CPD Certificates

A guide in renewing your license using your CPD certificate from Largado Safety and Rescue Training Center at any PRC Robinsons Satellite Office:

1. Make sure you have an ID picture with white background and scan it
2. Go to http://online.prc.gov.ph/ and make an account. If you already have one, then you just have to Log in (You will have to upload the id picture for this and ofcourse you will have to fill up an online form)
3. After you make an account, click "select transaction" and click "renewal", you will be needing your license number and profession for this step
4. Next, set an appointment date, time and location where you want to renew - well, the prc will not accept you without an online schedule. Take note, they DO NOT accept walk-ins. If you plan to renew your license, set an appointment ahead of time since the dates available are usually a week from today. You can do this using your mobile phones, so have it set ahead of time.
5. Select where you want to pay- there are 2 choices on the website, via Land Bank or PRC cashier. (We haven't tried the Land Bank)
6. Take a screen shot of your reference number. This is the one with the barcode which appears after you select your payment choice. You will be needing it there once you pay. No need to print anything at this time.
7. Here comes your appointment date- PRC Robinsons Las Pinas for example opens at 10 am. There is a short line when you arrive there at 9:30 am unless there are schedules for application for board exam of a certain profession then the line will be a blockbuster. The guard will not let you in unless it's 10am.
8. Once the guard let you in, go immediately to PRC office. Once there, their staff will ask you about your transaction (if you have somebody with you, then they will have to wait outside) and will direct you to the payment window/cashier. Show them the screenshot you took earlier and pay for the renewal fee of 450 pesos. Well, it depends if you have penalties or whatsoever.
10. After paying, they will advise you to print the form from your account. The form will not appear unless you pay for it first. So make sure you have a data connection for this and a wireless printer or you can rent a PC from one of the internet shops. In Rob Las Pinas, that would be on the 2nd floor and they usually open at 11 am. So we suggest you go in the afternoon instead of having an AM appointment.
11. When you already have the printed form, one copy is enough, attach the photocopy of your LARGADO SAFETY AND RESCUE TRAINING CENTER CPD certificate (This is the one with CPD units on it, NOT the cpr verify certificate from AHA or anything else) and give this to the next window for printing of ID. They will verify your cpd certificate and this will only take few minutes. Ofcourse we are accredited that is why if you bring the correct certificate then you won't be expecting any problem.
12. Once they are done printing your ID, a staff will call your name and give you your newly printed prc license valid for 3 years! Yey!
13. Last step. Sign the log book for receiving your PRC license. Now, treat youself an ice cream!

Hope this helps you in renewing your PRC IDs using the CPD certificates we have issued.

PS.
You will only need 15 units to renew your ID. You can do this one year ahead of your expiry date.

Usual problem encountered by our students:
1. presenting incorrect certificate without the units
How to solve this:
-Know your certificates. If in doubt what to bring, we are just a message away. You can text us at 09253102407. Call us for faster transaction.
2. Presenting CPD applied certificate that has not been approved by PRC yet - The processing should take only 45 days but in some cases it takes about 6 months or more. So what will you do? The PRC will allow you to process the renewal and borrow 15 units. You can redeem the units on your next renewal. (Please refer to “Knowing the CPD Approval Process” post for the full details)

Thank you.
